Today, Congressman Jimmy Patronis introduced the Warrior Road Act, a bill aimed at prioritizing critical roads, highways, and infrastructure projects nationwide. The bill would direct the Secretary of Transportation to develop a ranked list containing the three highest priority projects from each state based on their importance to civil or national defense. Such roads and highways are essential for ensuring the rapid and efficient movement of military personnel, first responders, and evacuees. The Warrior Road Act focuses on improving transportation routes used by military personnel and strengthening road infrastructure to support disaster response.
