Internships
Rep. Jimmy Patronis’ Internship Program offers Florida students a unique opportunity to experience the inner workings of Congress firsthand. There are two six-week sessions during the summer as well as full-semester internships in both the spring and fall. Interns work during normal office hours: Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm. Please note that there is no remote work option.
Internships are available in our Washington D.C., Crestview, and Pensacola offices.
Application Dates:
- Summer: Closed
- Fall: July 11, 2025
- Spring: November 7, 2025
Priority is given to students either from Florida or students enrolled in a Florida school who have completed at least their sophomore year of college. This is a highly competitive program. Due to limited space and resources, not all qualified applicants can be accommodated.

Students must provide all necessary documentation and indicate any requirements our office must fulfill.
