Hurricane Preparedness Resources

June 1 marks the start of hurricane season, and now is the time for families across Northwest Florida to prepare before a storm hits. Congressman Patronis encourages families to use this time to review emergency plans, confirm evacuation routes, and restock essential supplies, including water, non-perishable food, medications, batteries, and fuel.

Prepare for Hurricane Season By:

Developing or reviewing your family emergency plan
Knowing your evacuation zone and evacuation routes
Building or restocking your emergency supply kit
Monitoring trusted local and national weather updates
Taking photos and videos of your home and belongings for insurance purposes before a storm arrives

Being prepared ahead of time can make all the difference during an emergency.
