Hurricane Preparedness Resources

June 1 marks the start of hurricane season, and now is the time for families across Northwest Florida to prepare before a storm hits. Congressman Patronis encourages families to use this time to review emergency plans, confirm evacuation routes, and restock essential supplies, including water, non-perishable food, medications, batteries, and fuel.

Prepare for Hurricane Season By:

  • Developing or reviewing your family emergency plan
  • Knowing your evacuation zone and evacuation routes
  • Building or restocking your emergency supply kit
  • Monitoring trusted local and national weather updates
  • Taking photos and videos of your home and belongings for insurance purposes before a storm arrives

Being prepared ahead of time can make all the difference during an emergency.
