Congressman Jimmy Patronis Presents U.S. Navy Blue Angels With Presidential Coins

WASHINGTON, D.C.- On Friday, Congressman Jimmy Patronis (R-FL) presented members of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels with Presidential Challenge Coins he received during his visit with President Donald J. Trump at the White House, where he presented the President a model Blue Angels F/A-18 Super Hornet .

“The Blue Angels represent the very best of America,” said Congressman Jimmy Patronis. “As the home of Naval Aviation, Northwest Florida is proud to be the birthplace of this legendary team. It was an honor to bring a piece of the Panhandle to the White House, and it is a privilege to present these Presidential Challenge Coins to the heroes who continue to inspire millions of Americans.”

The Congressman made the presentation during Red, White & Blues Week, a special time for Northwest Florida as communities come together to celebrate and watch the beloved Blue Angels perform in their hometown.

Congressman Patronis has championed the Blue Angels in Congress, introducing the Special Operating Authority for Rehearsal (SOAR) Act to protect their training during a government shutdown and securing $12 million in FY26 Defense Appropriations funding to repair critical hangars at Naval Air Station Pensacola.
