Today, Congressman Jimmy Patronis highlighted the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) announcement that it has extended the tax filing deadline for the entire State Florida. While the IRS initially provided an extended tax filing deadline to Florida residents and businesses that were impacted by Hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton, now all Florida residents and businesses throughout the state may choose to file their taxes on May 1 rather than the traditional April 15 deadline. Congressman Patronis also provided tips to avoid tax scams this tax season.
Today, Congressman Jimmy Patronis announced his appointment to the United States House of Representatives Standing Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I). In addition to the T&I Committee, Congressman Patronis is expected to serve on the Subcommittee on Aviation, Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, and the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment.
