Patronis Backs Legislation on 404 Permitting Reforms

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Patronis voted with his House colleagues to support the passage of H.R.3898. The Promoting Efficient Review for Modern Infrastructure Today (PERMIT) Act, is a package of commonsense reform to permitting processes under the Clean Water Act (CWA) that cut red tape, reduce costly project delays and unnecessary litigation, and provide certainty to our nation’s infrastructure builders, farmers, water utilities, and small businesses. 

“I am honored to support the passage of the PERMIT Act that will streamline 404 permitting, while ensuring the environment is protected,” said Congressman Patronis. We must keep the government out of our backyards and restore power to the states.”
