“It’s crazy that you need an ID for almost everything in life except when it comes to voting,” said Congressman Patronis. “That’s how the Democrats like it because they need illegal immigrants to win elections. This bill is common sense, and I’m proud to support it.”
The Biden administration has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to enter the country, and many receive government benefits. In several states, they can obtain a driver’s license and other identification that can be used to register to vote in federal elections. We must protect the integrity of our elections and keep them in the hands of American citizens.
The SAVE America Act requirements to vote in U.S. elections:
- Require individuals to present an eligible photo identification document before voting.
- Require states to obtain proof of citizenship – in person – when registering an individual to vote.
- Require states to remove non-citizens from existing voter rolls.
