“Northwest Florida is home to one of the strongest military and veteran communities in the country,” said Congressman Patronis. “Whether it’s fighting for better access to health care, helping veterans navigate the VA, or supporting military families, I want veterans to know my office is here to help.”

In Congress, Congressman Patronis has fought for Northwest Florida veterans by:

  • Calling on VA Secretary Doug Collins to study the need for a VA hospital in Northwest Florida to expand veterans’ access to care.
  • Supporting the 2026 VA funding bill that boosts funding for veterans’ health care, mental health services, and housing programs.
  • Introducing the Veteran and Spouse Licensing Flexibility Act to help veterans and military spouses get licensed faster.
  • Cosponsoring the Major Richard Star Act to expand benefits for combat-injured veterans, allowing them to receive both retirement pay and disability benefits they’ve earned.
