Congressman Patronis Brings a Piece of Northwest Florida to the White House, Presents President Trump with Model Blue Angel F/A-18 Super Hornet
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, Congressman Jimmy Patronis (R-FL) presented President Donald J. Trump with a commemorative U.S. Navy Blue Angels model Blue Angel F/A-18 Super Hornet, bringing a piece of Northwest Florida and its proud military heritage to the White House.
Based in Pensacola, the Blue Angels are a source of pride for Northwest Florida. For generations, they have represented the very best of our military and inspired Americans across the country. The F/A-18 was presented in honor of the servicemembers, veterans, and military families who keep America strong as the Blue Angels celebrate their 80th anniversary.
"Northwest Florida is proud to be the home of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels," said Congressman Patronis. "For generations, families across our region have looked to the skies and watched the Blue Angels fly overhead. They represent the very best of our military and the patriotic spirit that runs deep in Northwest Florida. It was an honor to share that pride with President Trump and bring a piece of our community to the White House as we celebrate 80 years of the Blue Angels."
