The funding would be used to support improvements to the existing wastewater treatment plant, serving the community. The project would be a valuable use of taxpayer funds because this project would fund additional improvements to the town's Wastewater Treatment Plant to help them comply with a Consent Order. Planned improvements include: (1) motor control center replacement; (2) clarifier repairs; (3) reject storage pond repairs; (4) piping replacement; (5) pump station rehabilitation; and (6) blower motor control replacements.
